My PC is set to a low power standby mode where everything except for the ram gets turned off(i think)....no fans, no lights ect...I have two standy modes in my bios and this one is the lower power one. Normally I put it on standby with no problems, it comes right back up. Well, a few days ago I turned it on and the computer started from the beginning of the boot, loading up windows ect., and i thought i just accidentally hit shutdown, but its been doing that everytime i put it on standby now. Nothing else appears to be wrong and I switched standby mode to teh higher power mode (and theres no problems with that so far) but I'd prefer to have the lower state back since i dont feel like having the fans run 24/7. I'm in college so I use the computer a lot, therefore I don't want to shut down all the time. This computer is pretty new, i'v had it less then a year. O yeah and im running pheonix awardBIOS...any ideas on what might be causing this? thanks
