Partition is gone!

Hi everyone,
I had a unix partition. then I removed it and created a logical partition with Windows XP. then I backed up my data on that partition and changed widnows. But I can not see my old partition in my new windows.
I also checked fdisk but it's not there.

Any idea how to restore it?

You haven't given us much specific information about the drive and its partitioning arrangements or how you removed the unix (? Linux ext2) partition but PartitionDoctor (http://www.ptdd.com/ptdmoreinfo.htm) or BiNG (in my sig) may be able to rebuild the partition tables depending on what has been overwritten on the drive so far. Read the pdf file for BiNG for the specifics.
