912 Error

A friend of mine has this HP Compaq system, when he switches on the machine he gets a beep sound along with a message
"912- you system cover is been removed or moved and etc.."
Below it show F1 to continue and other options.

How to stop this ?

That's a security feature in the BIOS to let you know the system has been tampered with since the last time it was turned on.

You can go into the BIOS and reset it, or disable it. Look in the security section of the BIOS.

Yes, I did.
But unfortunately I was'nt able figure out under which section in the bios is the security content is.
And to avoid turning off the wrong switch.

Have look in the mobo manual, it should tell you were it's at and how to turn it off.
