Hello

I have been having problems with my pc for a long time and recently joined SWI forum who helped me remove all malicious files etc, so I have a clean machine again. Despite these measures, I am getting regular PC crashes, which normally indicates a hardware problem.

I looked into this eventuality and replaced my SDRAM + graphics card + PSU and I am still having problems. I need somebody who can read minidump files I think. Could the MOBO be faulty?

AMD Athlon 2000+ 1.66Ghz
512m RAM PC2700
ASUS A7333S

Regards

Phil

Dodong,
The user already removed malware and it may be a damaged OS or a hardware issue. We generally do not advise format/reload as a first option.

don't want to go for the re-install just yet. Any other ideas please?

what made you to say ''that indicates a hardware problem'' ?

------------------------------
PC crash can be linked to several things.
1) For how long is this happening ?
2) Does this happens during execution of an application or in idle state of the system.
3) Does this takes place after you have upgraded or added any device ?
