At the bottom of the main forum page should be a little ticker, or a day counter that can count the number of days without a SPAM post. I think it would be a pretty good idea, and i noticed there hasnt been a post in a few days!

There have been a number of them in the last few days, but we have dealt with them promptly... Unless we develop more effective SPAM protection, it would be: "Hours without SPAM posts" and it is enough hassle to deal with the SPAM without having to worry about keeping the counter up to date...

Knock on wood...
But yeah, the last one was on Friday. The thing is, they come in waves... in the past it's been so that we've been been perfectly fine for a week and then get 10 a day for a week... then it cools off, then picks up again.
I'm sure how easily that would implemented, though. Most likely there would have to be a hack so that each time a thread is moved to the Bit Bucket the counter is reset... Or it could be done manually. Would be interesting though...
This time Budfred was the one to beat me... anyways, yes, "Hours without SPAM" might be more appropriate at times! :D

Easiest way is click on "bit bucket" and just run your eye down the post dates.. not many days missing from there recently!!.

We nuke some that never make it to Bit Bucket... Known SPAMmers who register and we remove before they are even fully visible at PCGuide... We try to be proactive... :D
