Wireless connection help required

My daughter has just got Tiscali broadband and it's working OK on her computer - Applemac OSX 3.9. But cannot get a net connection with the Airport Extreme Base Station. Instead of the lights on the modem being both green, the USB light is flashing red and the ADSL light not on at all. Have tried switching the modem off and back on.

Hey Bob,
Might want to ask the DSL provider. They may have limitations that would prevent a router connection. it may be that the connection is dedicated to the MAC address of her comp, therfore another device would give the wrong address. I am not familiar with Apple devices but I would expect the Airport to be capable of MAC cloning. You would have to determine the MAC of her comp, then input that to the Airport's MAC clone settings.
