wide screen resolution

Hi, Hanns.G wide screen needs 1440x900 resolution but XP's display adjustment does not offer that setting. Is there a easy solution or I will search Hanns.G for help. Thanks Les

It isn't XP that is having the problem...it is your video card.

Windows by itself doesn't support ANY display modes (or I guess you could say it supports ALL modes)...the drivers for the video card and the video card itself are what support the display modes.

Not all video cards support widescreen formats...post your video card specs.

We built it then I left & she install XP. But MB CD was too confusing. If that is the answer, I will try & get back to you. Les
