Spybot errors

I downloaded updates for Spybot on one pc with no problem. (WIN XP). I then went to the WIN98SE pc but it keeps coming up with a checksum error and won't download the updates Do I need to uninstall Spybot and start new?

You downloaded an update that had the wrong language. Try clicking the (down) arrow on the right edge of the download update button and select a different server. I suggest SaferNetworking2.

Thanks Error fixed; but now I'm curious why I didn't receive the error message before.

It just depends on the update.
And yes, I got the message before on occasion, so I knew what your issue was.
