I installed this new video card and everything seems to work but I can't get an output to the DVI out. It's like it's not turned on. Or is there a problem I'm using a DVI to component (red,blue,green) to a component input on the TV.:confused:

Does anyone have an ideas.

What version of Forceware drivers are you using?

91.33 I downloaded them from their site. I can get an svideo out but nothing on the DVI.

What are connecting the DVI to? and how?

A TV with DVI to Componet video (RCA) so that would be a DVD 480P input

Do you have any other device with a DVI input...it may be the DVI output is fine, but the connection to the TV is the problem.

Chances are that if everything else on the card is working the DVI output is working too, but without a known working device to test it with you can't be sure...but the weak link could be the adapter...again without a known working device it is hard to be sure.

I read something on their site that suggest that I need windows MC. tomorrow I plan to install vista home premium. Perhaps that will help.

as for as the cable goes it's brand new I doubt it is bad.

What do you mean by "everything seems to work"? Does this computer have a monitor? Can you even see anything?

yes the computer monitor works 100%

Yes the DVI adapter was the problem. It seems all adapters are not equal
