Hi everyone... I got a little problem... I'm planning to buy a video card from the Nvidia 8800 series. More specifically: GeForce 8800 GTS / 640MB GDDR3 / SLI / PCI Express / Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card. The problem is that XFX,PNY,EVGA AND BFG has these cards, and they are identical except for the costs. Xfx is most expensive, however PNY is the cheapest. Can anyone explain why the xfx is more expensive than the pny?? It's confusing because they are identical, or are they? I don't want to buy and regret that I overpaid or got the weaker one.

this is how these cards look:

XFX : http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2570706&Sku=P450-8000

PNY: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2583226&CatId=2514

BFG: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2842059&CatId=2514

EVGA: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2597918&CatId=2514

EVGA superclocked : http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2824836&CatId=2514

Does anyone know which of these is best and worth spending a penny? These products are expensive, so I really want to be 100% sure !! Thanks :))

Oh yeah, one more question... what's the difference when a card is superclocked??? One more time THANKS :>

The last one, EVGA SUPERCLOCKED, has the best price/performance ratio. It's clocked at near GTX speeds (575/1350/1700) yet it still has the GTS core. The regular EVGA is the slowest at stock speeds (500/1200/1400). The rest have varying degrees of factory OC's, like 500/1200/1600, etc.

If you're looking for the best buy, it would be the last one. I'd still recommend buying from Newegg, but either way the prices are the same. Must be a manufacturer deal.

I checked the detailed specs (which I didn't notice earlier, somehow...), and your right. The last one will be the best choice. Thanks, however I'll stick to Tigerdirect :p
