OK both are diff in Ram. Thats the main performance difference I know of. Are there any others? And, does that much ram diff make that big a deal>
Also the prices are diff: XFX is $330 and EVGA's is $430, so $100 for 320 RAm, is that worth it?
Also again lol, the XFX comes with 2 free games COD2 and GRAW. so the equation of $100 for 320 mb RAM or 2 free games? Which is best deal?
Based on the 2 prices in your post, it appears that you're looking at a 580 MHz core speed, and 1700-1800 MHz RAM speed for each card.
If that's the case, then the extra 320 MB of RAM will allow you to display more colors and/or higher resolutions.

Normal resolutions don't nearly fill the RAM on current vid cards. If a single frame took up the entire 640MB of the 8800 GTS, the resolution would be roughly 14956 x 11217 in 32-bit color! I don't know of a monitor that can do that!
The extra RAM is mostly to support the sheer power of the G80 GPU for use with the new D3D 10. It also helps run current DX9 games on WinXP and Vista. But do not mistake the amount of RAM on a vid card as a mark of performance! There are many many other specs on a vid card that make one better than another. Give me links to specific vid cards and I can tell you what's better.
The test in the below link compares the performance of several video cards, including an 8800 GTS(640 MB), and an 8800 GTS(320 MB).
Note the following comment on page 7 of the test:
"At the highest resolutions, the BFG 8800GTS OC 320 MB graphics card could not complete the tests."

good test. Thanks, btw IM ALWAYS A NOOB
You're welcome.
BTW, make sure your system's power supply is up to the task. Either one of those proposed cards require a lot of power.
