I’m having trouble with my access point. For some rezone I see the clients listed on the access point as connected to the access point while on the other hand I can’t ping the access points from the clients or vise versa

When I changed the machine that the access point is connected to: - use dhpc over NetBIOS then all of a sudden 2 out of 4 machines appear within the workgroup while the other 2 can’t still ping or join the work group.

The work group name is the same
Ip addresses are in the same range
firewall is disabled
setting are same on all machines
aht could be the problem?

You are talking about 2 different points of view here so I think we need more clarification.
Seeing the comps on access point and seeing them in the work group is different.
Can you give us make/model specs on the access point?
What is the basic configuration of the network?
All wired? Any wireless?
What security on the access point?
setting are same on all machines
Can you explain this in more detail? What settings are the same and what are those settings?
