Hi,
if i get a card with DVI connector would i be able to connect it to my monitor (which have this connector as well) ???
or is it just for a second monitor and such.
Not entirely sure, but it seems to that if you have a compatable monitor then yes you should be able to use the DVI connector.

Yes.
I know I'm a new guy here and all, so anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong... But the DVI connector is a digital video interface intended for use on LCD monitors. If you have a flat panel with a DVI input, but are feeding it thru an analog connection from your graphics card, you aren't optimizing the monitor's quality. Likewise, many LCD monitors don't have a digital interface , but are analog, and don't optimize the graphic card's DVI out.
The dual monitor support is a separate feature that some graphics cards have. They usually term it 'Dual Display Support.'
