No manual at Sony (http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=PCVRS412) that I could find but this guy (http://dawga.bushbombonline.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1071&view=next) says there's no AGP nor PCIe, so PCI would seem to be the only option (assuming you have a spare slot). You should be able to tell what your options are by opening the case.

Do you have the one with onboard video? Or is it an add-on card? The add-on is agp and depending on the motherboard's chipset, may be upgradeable somewhat, but usually not much.
If you have the model with onboard, you are stuck with only pci slots and pci vid cards went out with the Dodo bird. IF you find one, they will be expensive with little increase in performance.
To answer pci-e,
NO
Can you add an agp slot to a board without one?
No again.

The guy in the link I posted indicated there was no AGP port but have a look for yourself. The following link shows AGP v PCI

You probably can't put one on the board. Even if there are pins on the board for an AGP slot, there is no guarantee that these pins will function properly if someone were to attach a slot.
Also, you would need to write a customized BIOS for the board, or find a BIOS for the exact same board that has an enabled AGP slot. Would be an interesting project, but for your purposes, hardly worthwhile and no guarantee of success.
You either need to look for a lowly pci card (which would be better than your onboard), or start thinking about upgrading the entire board, psu, etc.
PS-All who have answered here are trying to help you, triple exclamation points after every sentence is a bit like shouting. :)
Edit - Have a look at the pci cards on these three pages. X1300s and X1550s in pci! Look at the price though. A Radeon 9250 will probably run those games reasonably. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=ENE&N=2000380048+1069609642&Subcategory=48&description=&Ntk=&srchInDesc=
