I decided to update the case of one of my older computers i took the motherboard and the other components (CD drive, Floppy Drive, Harddrive etc) out of the old case and I plugged all of them neatly back together in a new case, but having hit the power button i discovered that my monitor would not boot. Not a thing is displayed. I have done multiple things to solve the problem, including switching monitors and components (even a new motherboard), putting a PCI videocard in as a replacement for the current built in one and taking apart the system and making sure everything is clean and connected properly. Unfortunatley all of my attempts have been to no success and im starting to think that this case just must be jinxed or haunted.... LOL:p
I read somewhere that the static of a new case can interefere... is this true and could this be a logical problem and if so whats the logical solution?
Any response would be much appreciated and great Kudos would be given to anyone with any advice.
