Custom>Hardware>VIA is crashing many peoples PC's, including mine, OK after restore to a good known. What is Microsofts malfunction? I thought all updates were safe to download. Les

What version of Windows?

More specifics on the update (version numbers)...

And why are you getting your HARDWARE updates from a SOFTWARE vendor? You would probably have much better lick getting it directly from VIA...

I was doing MS Custom Updates for XP, I thought all updates were safe but maybe not necessary. I checked my update history-allothers have a KB number, VIA updates does not. Les
