Video out (to tv) problem "rage theater- all-in-wonder"

I also have a video-output cable that goes from the card to the tv. But I can't get the image to display on the tv. I think I need software for the video out feature on the card, but I can't find any programs that are compatible with windows xp.
Please help!

Have you opened your tower's case and looked at the video card?

If you go to the Video settings (Control Panel->Display->Settings tab) you must enable the second monitor (click 'extend my desktop to this monitor')
