A few days ago i tried accessing my RCA wireless cable gateway's configuration page at 192.168.0.1. Usually it would take me to an RCA page where i would enter "admin" as my username and it would bring me to all my gateway configuration options, but this time it was different. I was presented with a security popup window that said "The server 192.168.0.1 at Comcast Home Networking requires a username and password". I found this odd because even though we do have comcast broadband we are not signed up for the home networking package. I tried the admin username and it did not work. So it was then suggested to me to do a hard reset of the modem. After a reset I was still prompted with the same popup, but now my wireless internet is broadcasting as "Customer ID" and is WEP protected so i can't even get onto it.
So now I have been on the phone all day being transfered back and forth from Comcast and RCA, and neither can give me an answer. Any help would be much appreciated. Here's what i get from ipconfig /all:

You stated you typed admin as the username. Username should be left blank and admin is the password.
