Geforce 6200 or 5950 ultra

hi i am planning to buy an agp 8x video card and my pick is geforce 6200 128mb 64bit or FX5800 ultra but i just want to ask a question, which of the is fastest that can play Doom III in highest quality?Any advice?

The FX5950 Ultra will beat a 6200 any day. It may not be fully DX9c compliant, but it has enough raw power to beat a 6200.

What's your budget for this new vid card? There are certainly far better performers for AGP 8x than the lowly 6200.

thnx for ur suggestin sir my budget is only $60 - $70 here in Philippines. The Geforce 6200 is only available here for $60. Can i ask again wat NVIDIA video card is equivalent to ATI's Radeon 9800? Pls reply..

Well, the GeForce FX 5800/5900's weren't up to par for competing with the Radeon 9800's. You'll have to jump up to a GeForce 6600 GT on NVidia's side.

$70, huh? That sucks. :( Bummer for you. If you can find a Radeon 9700 Pro or 9800 (any 9800) for that price, I'd say go for that.
