Hi , welcome,
Looks like a nice system. It seems price is not a real concern here, especially with the GeForce 4 Ti 4600 in the lineup. The only suggestion I would make is change the IBM hard drive to a Western Digital Caviar Special Edition with 8 Mb buffer. The Wd800JB is the 80 Gig flavor and has a not bad price tag, about $120. All in all though, not a bad gaming rig. Good luck!!

I had another thought. You seem to be a fan of Asus. They make an EXCELLENT DVD Rom. ATA/100 with a 512Kb buffer. I have both the Pioneer 106 s slot load and the Asus DVD ROMS. The Asus is much quieter and may be a little less expensive. Also comes with DVD software, which the Pioneer doesn't include. Just a thought.

Man I wish I had the money for that kind of system! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif
I agree with malcore on not getting the IBM hard drive, but for a different reason. The last three hard drive versions from IBM (75GXP, 60GXP, 120GXP) are great performers, the best ones when they each came out, but there's a darker side to them, a failure side to them. On average, about 5-10% have some sort of problem, from slightly reduced performance to full-out mechanical failure.
Now I'm running a 60GB 60GXP on my main rig and thankfully have had no problems, but I wouldn't want to risk it again. Western Digital and Maxtor for me from now on. Or at least until IBM cleans up their reliability act.
Again, I wish I had the money for that kind of system! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Memory OCZ 512MB DDR PC2700 with Heat Spreader
The reason for the heat spreaders is so you can't read the chips and find they are PC2100 chips http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/mad.gif
OCZ PC2700 is not real PC2700 it is overclocked PC2100. RMAs on OCZ RAM have been so numerous that some web stores won't even sell it. Buy Samsung, Crucial, or Kingston if you want real PC2700.
OCZ PC2700 may work well on a motherboard made for PC2100 DDR (because that is what it is made for) and you may get it to overclock to 333MHz but you may not because the processor is being overclocked too and you don't know which is keeping you from making POST. If you put overclocked PC2100 on a motherboard that is made for PC2700 DDR you are starting out with overclocked RAM and if you tweak the RAM settings the RAM can not handle it because it is already being stressed to its limits running at 333MHz when it was designed to run at 200 or 266MHz.
When I built my P4 system I bought 768MB of Corsair XMS2700 DDR. It would run at 333MHz but only CAS 3 normal system settings opposed to fast or turbo. If I tried to set the RAM to any faster settings the system would fail to POST.
After I removed the Corsair and installed Samsung real PC2700 RAM I can run in CAS 2 turbo and have even clocked the RAM faster than 400MHz http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
OCZ and Corsair only guarantee their RAM to run at 333Mhz CL2 and no more than that! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif
I agree with malcore and saphalline on the hard drive. I have 2 WD1000JBs(100GB), a WD400BB(40GB), and a WD150BB(15GB) I have never had a problem with any of them.
