Yeah it's down for me too
ZoneEdit DNS services for this domain have expired.
To reactivate service for SPYWAREINFO.COM, log into your account and add credits.
Thank you for using ZoneEdit

Actually, I don't know yet... Either we have been hijacked or the hosting contract really did expire... I believe we were hijacked since the redirect has a bunch of rogue sites listed on it... However, we are still trying to sort it out...

Just been doing a bit of snooping round the net regarding zoneedit and there have been some known vulnerabilities, so hijacking is likely.

Part of the issue is that it is not entirely clear that ZoneEdit was ever our hosting company... I suspect it may have been used temporarily during an earlier DDoS and it is somehow hijacking us now... I haven't heard anything more from cnm who says she is able to access SWI...

Apparently the problem was that the owner, Mike, is still missing and the other owner did not pay to renew the DNS... Someone found a way to pay it and I believe we are back online for the public now... I put entries in my HOSTS file to allow access earlier, so I am not sure if I am getting in because of that or if we are available to everyone, but we have been open at least some of the time... Try it and let me know... :)

Glad to hear you had no trouble getting in... Thanks...
Apparently a year was paid, so it is now a matter of getting one of the owners to deal with it before something like this happens again...

Surely was a shock.. it felt like getting locked out of my own house, I spend a considerable amount of time there!!
Hope it can get sorted out this year.. awkward situation to deal with though.

glad to see it was this and not a hijacking.
