Please check out this HJT log from my son's computer

My son's computer is doing some strange things, not the least of which is the error message:

regedit is not a valid Win32 application

when I try to edit the registry. Here is a HJT log:

There is only a minor corporate spyware issue in the HJT log... you can fix this:

And delete the file which I believe is here:

I wasn't able to get a clear read on this one:

C:\Documents and Settings\Justin\Application Data\U3\0000060329026830\LaunchPad.exe

So I suggest you check Properties to see if you can identify it... If not, submit it to Jotti:

Please go to Jotti's malware scan at http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and upload the file for scanning and post the results here.

You can run this and see if picks up anything:

Download Superantispyware (http://www.superantispyware.com/?tag=GOOGLE-SUPERANTISPYWARE)

Install the programme and when the first page opens on the bottom left will be a check for updates button click this to update the programme

Then run SuperAntispyware

On the first page select SCAN YOUR COMPUTER
On the next page select COMPLETE SCAN and tick ALL your drives
The next stage will take a while as your entire drive(s), memory and registry are scanned
When it has completed click NEXT
The next screen shows the problems found click OK
On the next screen place a tick against all items and select NEXT

Now to get the log Go to the PREFERENCES button on the right bottom
Select the STATISTICS/LOG tab
Highlight the scan just completed and click VIEW LOG
This will open a notepad text file copy and paste this to your next reply

* Download Dr.Web CureIt to the desktop:

Doubleclick the drweb-cureit.exe file and Allow to run the express scan
This will scan the files currently running in memory and when something is found, click the yes button when it asks you if you want to cure it. This is only a short scan.
Once the short scan has finished, mark the drives that you want to scan.
Select all drives. A red dot shows which drives have been chosen.
Click the green arrow at the right, and the scan will start.
Click 'Yes to all' if it asks if you want to cure/move the file.
When the scan has finished, look if you can click next icon next to the files found: http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiemoes/images/check.gif
If so, click it and then click the next icon right below and select Move incurable as you'll see in next image:

This will move it to the %userprofile%\DoctorWeb\quarantaine-folder if it can't be cured. (this in case if we need samples)
After selecting, in the Dr.Web CureIt menu on top, click file and choose save report list
Save the report to your desktop. The report will be called DrWeb.csv
Close Dr.Web Cureit.
Reboot your computer!! Because it could be possible that files in use will be moved/deleted during reboot.
After reboot, post the contents of the log from Dr.Web you saved previously in your next reply.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back about this post. None of the scans revealed any problems which is good news. That still doesn't explain why I can't get into regedit.

The logs didn't find anything?? That is odd... do a Silent Runners log to see if we can find anything else...

Please download SilentRunners from here:
http://www.silentrunners.org/Silent%20Runners.zip
Unzip it to the desktop and double-click on it. If you get any kind of warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run. When the scan is finished, it will create a logfile on the desktop. Please post the entire contents of this logfile for me to see.
