Netscape 7.2, need to find address book and export to any file or folder or anything that can be read by outlook express or even by Netscape 8. I have repaired and reinstalled 7.2, it will not open. I have restored to earlier date, same.
WXP-sp2
AMD 3200
512 MB Ram
I have looked and looked and looked on ways to restore, export, recover, a Netscape Address Book and nothing makes any sense or will work.
I really need help guys and gals, that I can understand, this is the main Arc computer and I did a backup but it won't work either. The computer seemed to be running fine till I discovered I hadn't backed up the address book and it being Netscape there is just no info that I can understand.

Found the files in the Mozilla folder, not the Netscape folder. Zipped them up and saved them and went and found a little program to convert them to .wab files. All this trouble because our exe is set in her ways and won't learn OE or IE. She's going to now:p I got them imported to OE and they aren't in her special order but I'm going to help sort that out but the point is, is that I saved the address book and all her email addresses. I know people still use netscape but mercy is it a pain in the back side. The new one 8.1 you have to use AOL mail, they must have pressured Netscape into that.
Any way thanks much for finding that site Paul it was the turning point for me!! Very much appreciated! Sometimes another set of eyes are needed!

Mozilla and Netscape (and AOL) have a history (http://ilias.ca/MozillaNetscapeRelationship).
