It might not be a big problem now, but as the site gets more attention and draws more readers, it might be a good idea to separate the operating system section into categories. Even now, just getting started, I have trouble when I read some of the posts, since I sometimes have no idea whether the person is using Win 3.x, 95 or 98. Setting it up so they have a DOS section, Win 3.x, win95 etc. would simplify matters greatly. The reader could then go directly to the appropriate forum to post a question, and not leave us wondering and having to ask what OS they are using. If it's in the Win 95 forum, it's a pretty good bet it's a Win 95 question.

Otherwise, it's looking good as far as I can tell, not difficult to navigate, and I like some of the categories pretty well, such as "How do I?". This opens up possibilities for random questions you might never suspect, and it's always interesting to see what's there...

Hey Pete,
If things get busy enough we can split the forums further, but at the same time, we need to make sure things don't get too overwhelming. There are already a lot of forums. Guess we'll take it as it goes.
The other issue is that people don't always post in the right forums, so it may not be as obvious as you think. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
Thanks for the ideas!
