effective registry cleaner

anybody know a good registry cleaner? id rather not discuss my problems if i could just get names of the programs

Registry Doctor. I generally do not recommend use of registry utilities due to the risk of breaking things.

Spybot Search & Destroy under "tools" has a tick to enable checking for registry inconsistencies...

I'm not sure if this is the default setting...
