There's always going to be ways around security, often with the user being involved (let's face it, we are often the weakest link). Here's some info that Symantec have discovered:

Here we have, once again, another perfect reason why not to switch to Vista yet... Just another flaw that was bound to happen...

Oh, the joy...the happiness...

In a memo to his staff, the DOT's CIO Daniel Mintz says he has placed "an indefinite moratorium" on the upgrades as "there appears to be no compelling technical or business case for upgrading to these new Microsoft software products. Furthermore, there appears to be specific reasons not to upgrade."

Wish someone had said that when ME had come out...

And it is true...other than more DRM and a few (that could be updates to existing versions) 'tweaks' and fixes, Vista is just an 'eye-candy' release. Really, is a 'glassy' desktop a good reason to upgrade?

Vista is just another ME in most respects...marketing over substance.

Hey we got native USB support with ME. So it was useful for something at least. Can't say that much for vista.

[...]Can't say that much for vista. Yes... with Vista we get the luxury of needing 4GB of RAM

Amen to that, you gotta disable System Restore and Virtual Memory to get sweet stablity though, just recently realized that.

The Win Me price was NOTHING compared to that of Win Vista... They are just getting greedy now...
