I have an issue with a printing problem. No matter what printer setting I use , I have 3, I get a different color on screen ( the correct color) than what prints. If I view the file(say one that was emailed to me) on another PC it will view and print fine, but if I SAVE the file on this PC, then copy to disk and view/print from another PC it will be discolored also.Any thoughts? The printer support people have changed settings - but to the same result.

I suspect if someone were familiar with setting up a color management program it would not take them long to figure out the problem...

Here's an interesting color management primer:

The printer is a Phazer -(wax melter) printer. Troubleshooting so far went as follows.

1-- 2 pc's 1 brand new both have same issue. 1 has adobe 7.09 the other has adobe 6.0. the problem is in adobe only as word docs, web pages, publisher docs print as seen on screen.
2-- other printers attached to the network also print incorrectly using the same application and PC's.
3-- Files emailed to the PC are affected only. If the same file is sent to anther office pc they print fine in adobe. But if the file is emailed to my pc, saved to disk, moved to any other PC the file will print incorrectly EVEN IF I did not even open the file.
4-- The only different item seems to be the web server that forwards mail to my outlook is different from the other office servers. Could it be the web sever is alter only adobe file print settings?
I am baffled by this issue- please and thanks for all your help.
