Screen problem on my laptop

I have a 5 yrs old laptop. since today, the images , the whole display on the screen start shaking, and there are lots static that you can see? Anyone might now wht the problem is and how to resolve it?

What model is the laptop? Try connecting it to an external monitor. If it works with a different monitor, then the TFT is malfunctioning. If the problem still occurs, then it is a hardware problem. It is difficult to suggest anything else without more information.
