Tsst H225l Cd/dvdw Drive Help!!!!

Hi guys I am new here. My dvd drive which is a H225L does not work now =( I have used it many times before. I was trying to burn a dvd and I was using the file at the same time. And I got an error for burning the file which I thought was fine. And I kept using the file and stopped the burning process. THEN I went to go burn and the H225L drive WONT EVEN READ CD's DVD's or BLANK MEDIA NOTHING!. Does anyone know what the problem could be someone PLEASE help I do not want to buy another one :(

Mkae sure its cables are securely connected.
If they're ok, then connect a different power lead to the drive.
If no luck, then install a different known working IDE cable.
If still no good, then clean the lens.
If that does not help, then the drive may be bad. See if it works in another system. If not, then it's probably toast.

Before giving up the ghost on that drive, try removing it from Device Manager and rebooting. See if it will read disks then.

It sounds like the sofware or drivers became corrupted. I usually don't access the same file as the one's being burned just as a precautionary measure.

Yeah Ive done all that except clean the leans I will try to clean it very soon and post back
