I have recently installed Vista Ultima which all appears to install correctly. The problem I'm having is connecting to the internet.
When I install Vista it detects that I have a network - DLINK DSL-300T - and asks me what type of connection I want. I have tried all of them.
When I try to connect to the internet it won't. I have tried the tech suport of DLINK and they state that this product doesn't need any driver updates and that I need to adjust the IE options to allow me to connect. However they didn't tell me what options to alter.
One thing I have noticed is that I cannot ping my modem from the command prompt.
I have had to resort to re-imaging XP from a ghost image just so I can try and resolve this issue.
Any thoughts and advice will as always be gratefully received.
