I hope this is the right forum to post this topic.I am building my second pc and have ran into a couple of problems with the hardware installation. Before i get to the problems, here is the hardware in question.
Thermaltake armor full tower case http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chassis/fulltower/armor/va8003swa.asp
Abit AW9D-Max mobo
http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/products.php?categories=1&model=326 Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum http://us.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=205&product=9107
The first problem is that the case has headphone and mic connections on the top of the case with one wire coming from them with 2 separate plugs on the end.One marked azalia(which i believe is HD)and the other AC97.Both are 10 pin connectors with 1 terminal capped. The motherboard doesnt exactly have audio connections on mobo,as it has a add-on card that came with the mobo(audiomax hd 7.1)which has the audio connections on it.I am using the soundblaster however and didn't want to install the audiomax. Is the any way that i can hook up the case headphone and mic connections using my soundblaster only? There is not an FP-Audio connection on the soundblaster.
Secondly, the armor case has a intrusion switch on the side(I have the tsunami dream case and chose not to hook this up)but this is for my Dad and I want to hook up everything for him, including this.I want him to have a good experience with a custom build instead of settling for a dell. However he wants vista so he may hate this pc anyway b4 its over. The only switch header i have free now is the suspend LED cable connection, all other headers are used.Is this gonna be something i am going to have to wire in series with another switch or is there something im missing.I'm not really sure what is supposed to happen when the intrusion switch is open?Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the following link, select 'Chassis' in the 'Main Category' box and 'General Chassis Questions' in the 'Subcategory' box, click 'Find', and read the 1st and 4th Q&A. They address your questions, i.e., you have to check your MB's and sound card's documentation to see if they will support the case's intrusion switch, and mic/headphone features:
