Link on Forum page for chat channel

I think we might encounter more traffic on the chat channel if there were a link to it on the Forum. I know that a lot of folks hit the Forum more than the Guide. Also, folks should be aware that the java applet works great for those of us without IRC experience or just dont want to mess with it. Am I on track here?

Sounds reasonable to me, as long as people are aware of the guidelines before logging on, which are posted Here (http://www.pcguide.com/irc.htm). You can log onto the chat channel from the same link, but please READ the entire page first.

I won't post a link to the java client itself, maybe by doing it this way visitors will check out the warnings/guidelines page first, and that may possibly reduce the number of troublemakers who are prone to find and abuse any such Internet communications utility. So far we've seen none of those that I'm aware of, it's been a teriffic channel every time I've used it. But it's only a matter of time...
