i have took all my old parts and made a system the cpu at the moment is an AMD 2200+ and i think i fried it (dnt ask how :D) i have looked on a few sites on were to get another socket A cpu bt because its old i cant find one anyone got any idea were to get one

ZipZoomFly has a few, but the prices are not good. Lowest I saw was $80 for a 1GHz. Probably going to be the same story at just about any site you go to.

This might be a good one to look for on ebay. Or if you have a local surplus store with a bunch of old computers in stock.

You could look on eBay if you're into that... there are lots of listings for "junk boxes" full of bits and bobs (CPU, RAM, cables, CD-drives, etc) that can be cheap and helpful.

Occasionally, when I'm bored or want to grab some older parts to tinker with, I'll grab one or two of those type boxes...I've gotten several good finds that way.
