i was putting an old system together i turned on the pc went on bios turned it off put in memory then turned it on then there was no output on monitor
it is a 128mb ati think its a or sumthing like that 9500 agp

If you installed additional RAM after getting into BIOS on the 1st startup, then remove the additional RAM. If that works, then the added RAM is either bad, or it's not compatible with the MB or original RAM.

You're welcome.
If you were initially able to get into BIOS, but subsequently there was no display after shutting down, installing additional RAM, and restarting, and uninstalling the additional RAM did not restore the display, then see if installing a new CMOS battery works.
If no luck and you had changed some of the settings in BIOS, then reset BIOS either by repositioning a MB jumper, or by removing the CMOS battery for 30 minutes.
If no good, and you installed components other than the additional RAM, then remove those components one at a time until the display returns. The last component removed is the probable cause.

got it its was the something to do with the cmos battery tnx
