Hey all,

I want to get a new case, cause mine is rubbish for cooling. But while looking for a new one, i noticed that in all the images i looked at of different cases, the bit on the back of the case where the little bit of the mobo sticks through (where u plug everything into), looks nothing like mine.

Im getting a bit worried cause i cant find one single case that looks like mine on the back, and that when i go to put my mobo in, it wont all line up.

So, does it matter if it looks the same at the back? Or can i adjust it some how?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

p.s, if you dont understand what i mean, just say so and ill get a pic of mine and a pic of a new case to show you what i mean...

The I/O panel is removable and a standard size. Once you get a new case just pop the one out of your old case and put it in the new one. Just push on it at the edges of the panel from the outside of the case and it will pop right out. Some times they are in there pretty good, but it will come out. :)

For the life of me I still can't figure out why case manufacturers even put a I/O panel on their cases since every motherboard comes with a custom one.

Think of the metal they could save if they just didn't bother...

Hehe. :D Technically I believe it is called the "I/O shield". But I always call it a panel for some reason.
