Just wondering if anyone out there is lookin for some used RAM for a small project PC, I just can't throw it out without asking. Its a 128MB DDR 266MHz PC2100.
Just drop me an email at at not quite savvy if you're interested. You just need to pay for shipping. Thanks much.

This seems to be a lick off the Popsicle of SPAM. Reported.

Hello weicheltb and welcome to the PC Guide Forums!
Two items: One, not wise to leave an active email addy in the forums where bots routinely scour for SPAMming purposes...
Second, although we appreciate your generosity, your desire to give something away for free might be a problem with our advertisers who pay to have their products displayed...

A free offer of a small stick of older ddr RAM as Spam? And the person offering has given a private email address?
Sufferwell, you licking a Rumsicle?
It's too small and 1 step too old for what I'm after, thanks anyway Weicheltb.

I often wondered why there is no buy/sell/trade Subforum on PCGuide. I guess this explains it.

Actually, I don't think that we have any advertisers who might object to the occasional offer of old free equipment... However, if we had a subforum that encouraged trading and selling of stuff, we would end up with a SPAM zoo and it would be even harder to keep the forum clean... There are plenty of sites that offer those kinds of options, so I don't see that we need to offer them...

I would say try ebay - more than anything, that's just what they exist for.

If the offer is genuine, I am sure you can find someone around your area that could use it. Or donate it to school or other good cause that may be able to use it. I am sure a few phone calls could find a place that would be glad to take it off your hands.
