View Full Version : Front Audio Hook Up's

i am having trouble hooking up my front audio and i have already tried it once and i was see if i could get some help. i have a ak39n motherboard

and the hook up's on the motherboard are:
1-AUD_MIC
2-AUD_GND
3-AUD_MIC_VCC
4-AUD_RESERVE
5-AUD_FRONT_R
6-AUD_RET_R
7-HP_ON
8-KEY
9-AUD_FRONT_L
10-AUD_RET_L

and the wires on the case are:
1-GROUND
2-GROUND
3-R IN
4-L IN
5-R OUT
6-L OUT
7-MIC-BIAS
8-MIC-IN

If you could please tell me which ones i should hook up to what. I would appricate it.

Seems to me you would find that info in your motherboard manual. If you don't have one, you can find it HERE (http://eu.shuttle.com/archive/en/ak39_faq.htm#infofaq)

8-MIC-IN >> 1
7-MIC-BIAS >> 3
3-R IN & 5-R OUT >> 5 and 6 (or 6 and 5) after removing jumper on mobo header
4-L IN & 6-L OUT >> 9 and 10 (or 10 and 9) after removing jumper on mobo header
1-GROUND >> 2
2-GROUND just hangs in the air
