Hi everybody. I've been reading these mesage boards for only a few days, but have found them really helpful. I was wondering if there was an overclockers forum that I've missed. If not, how about starting one?

There are quite a few websites that, if not entirely devoted to overclocking, make it one of their main topics...if you want more info I suggest you check them out...
www.overclockers.com (http://www.overclockers.com) www.tomshardware.com (http://www.tomshardware.com) www.firingsquad.com (http://www.firingsquad.com)

I don't speak for anyone else here, but given the amount of thought and research that should go into most attempts at o'clocking, I think it's probably best to go with sites that give quite a bit of attention and testing to the topic...

And if you just want to use the forums here, you certainly could post oc questions on the "How do I" or "How does this work" sections

Yeah, I've been to most of those sites. I've found that message boards usually are better for getting answers to a specific question. I was just curious whether there already was a section, because I know in some forums people get upset if topics are posted in wrong folders. Anyway, I guess I'll just post questions in the How do I section. Thanks for the reply.... http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif

I doubt you will find very much help on this forum for overclocking ANY of the newer cpu's......In most of the experienced enough to really help you type folks here.......they dont recommend it at all. If you have an older Intel 166, 200, or 233.....you can probably get some help here OR the most overclockable chip in CPU history: The Famous Celeron 300 ! With a cost of under $25 now......even I will give tips on how to overclock that puppy http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
