Just curious if anyone has dealt with a system exchange through Dell. I'm curious as to what machine they could be sending as replacement for Inspiron 1150. The tech mentioned a Inspiron 6000, but also said that they exchange diff systems when the system being sent back is no longer on the market, and the 6000 is in this category along with the 1150.

I have a neighbor who actually recieved a Insp E1505 as a replacement (hate it). So I'm thinking either a 6000 (more likely the 6400; still on the market) or the 1505. Any experience on this out there?

(currently #2 in Dell chat queue, and have been for the better part of an hour. Still beats the hell outova phonetree:cool: )
Thanks ppl

Lots of love here for Dell. I think they work fine for office machines. Chat support depends on what you want done. If your asking technical questions it rarely is useful. I can search Google the same as they can. I have often heard them quoting links I was reading at the same time. I used to advise buying the cheapest machine you could find for non gamers. But maybe they are now too cheap, the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies now. Used to be their low end machine was still quality parts, now I think their low end machine is low end parts.
