System is running WIN98SE The mail scanner pops up randomly and sometimes frequently when using Opera (version 9.02) No changes have been made to the Opera setting which should do this. On updates, it used to update automatically after downloads. Now you have to reboot with each update. I uninstalled and reinstalled AVG to see if I could clear this last nuisance but no such luck. Does AVG no longer work well with 98SE? The system is too old for an upgrade to XP.
