I have a motorola PC850 USB bluetooth adapter and I use it to connect my PC to bluetooth headset. Recently, I purchased a new computer, and found that I don't have the bluetooth software CD anymore. I don't find the Widcomm bluetooth application on Motorola's site nor Broadcom's site.
Is there a place I can download the software from, or do I really have to buy a new adapter?! Is there any other bluetooth app that is equally good?
I tried Blue Soleil on my Vista Home Premium, and all I got was a blue screen core dump. Luckily, I had enough sense to create a restore point before installing it.
Please help me, coz I don't want to go back to my wired headset.

Which version of Windows? if not the Vista Home Premium you have mentioned.
... or what software do you need from the original CD?
To setup under vista look at http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/help/67cdb8d4-c3fe-43db-a00e-53159bf8695b1033.mspx

I use Home Premium. Well I didn't have a problem with the driver, since Vista searched online and installed something. But to connect my bluetooth headset, I need to have some application that helps me do it. The Widcomm app on my CD gave a system tray icon to connect to my headset.
Anyway, I found this link. It seems to work.

Just that, at times my Vista blue screens while using skype with bluetooth, in some scenarios. I'm not sure if its because of this, coz it blue screens by itself at times, with no interference.
I guess its part of the package if you sign up for Windows. For now, I've updated my ATI X1300 pro drivers to see if it stops the BSOD.
Thanks for your help.

Skype is not yet supported (http://www.skype.com/download/skype/windows/) under Vista
