For what operating system? You don't usually need drivers for s hard drive.

The drive is a SATA (http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=536d3b0c2aeef010VgnVCM100000f5 ee0a0aRCRD&vgnextchannel=f424072516d8c010VgnVCM100000dd04090a RCRD&locale=en-US&reqPage=Legacy) and not a SCSI drive - even though on some (particularly older motherboards with SATA headers) the SATAs "may sit on" a SCSI/RAID interface.

Are you attaching the drive to a PCI host controller card or directly to the mobo? If on the mobo have you checked the BIOS to see if the SATA can be configured as an IDE device or not. Unless you want a RAID array then configure it in IDE emulation if that is an option.

If you need any drivers at all they would be those belonging to any SATA/RAID drivers specific to the motherboard or pci card and not to the drive itself.

This can be a bit confusing so post back more specific details about your hardware if you have further problems.
