hi,
i am currently upgrading my pc,i have a emachines w3502,i am about to upgrade ddr memory to 2 gb and replace the graphics card,the graphics card im getting is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102022 this card.people are saying to upgrade my power supply, i was wondering if this one i found would be ok for my machine here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817194003

any help or other recommendations to upgrade would be appreciated.

How large is your current supply? You may be OK!

finally thank you for replying,i currently have 350w.

if i update to the graphics card and extra ddram that i specified would you recommend a larger power supply of around 500w?

Not trying to rain on your choices but does that emachine computer support pci express? Make sure before you buy.

Updating the power unit to 450-500 watts is probably more than you need, but it allows more headroom, in that the PSU is not working flat out all the while. Result,- cooler PSU, and more reliability.
