Memory Advice

Hi All,

Just wondered if I upgrade my memory from DDR2 PC2-4100 to DDR PC2-5300 would I see any improvement on my notepad.

Yes, as long as the total amount of installed RAM exceeds the combined requirements of your O/S and your usage, e.g., multitasking, etc.
Also, if the PC2-4100 is dual channel, then make sure to replace it with dual channel PC2-5300.

You're welcome.
That should be plenty assuming you do not open a lot of RAM intensive applications simultaneously.

Make sure your motherboard can support higher speeds. It won't do any good to get faster ram if the system can't use faster speeds.
