Virus ?

If you have multible partitions on one harddrive and multible OS as well,
and while being on one of the OS on one of the partitions you get a virus
would it infect the others? If not, then reformatting that partition would
be all that I would have to do to fix it right? Of coarse if it's the C drive with WinMe I would have to reinstall it and then also I would have

excellant question wiltrot, hmmm....i would guess it would just depend on the type of virus,worm, etc..most times when you are infected the " program " will work it's way across all your data-no matter where they are located. So if your anti-virus profgram didn't catch it, and you can't get a tool from a site to fix it, your safest bet is to completely reformat and reinstall everything.
