I have a heatsink fan that is shooting out 2800RPMs. It has a small 4 pin female connector (first time ive seen this).
My motherboard is a MSI MS-7250 model. Do you all think I should find a connector to go to a molex or just hook it up to the motherboard?

I'm Afraid I would blow the motherboard if I connect it there.

A 2-pin fan connector simply powers the fan, a 3-pin fan connector also monitors the fan's speed, and a 4-pin fan connector monitors and also controls the fan's speed.
If you're unsure about the capacity of the MB's fan terminal, then recommend that you play it safe and install a molex adapter.
