Having used the search facility numerous times and found the answers to my questions, I would think it would be a good idea to make it more prominent on the site.
I know some of the posts are quite specific, but l presume that each category must get similar questions from time to time.
A notice to encourage people to use the "search" before posting might be the way to go.
I don't want to discourage people from posting, it's just, that you could get an answer to a problem quicker. Well, that's my experience but then l am not the most patient of a comp-user.
As the category says, this is only a minor suggestion to a fabulous site.
