as I try to load a game/program in my dvd-rom drive my computer goes into restart automatically. my dvd-rom drive reboots my computer on its own. this never happen before. so far everything else seems to be fine. i can get back to my desktop screen, and get on the internet. but i can't get access to any games/programs. i tried to do a diagnostic test and virus scan (all Norton's), but anything that "touches" the dvd rom drive will restart my computer. i tried troubleshooting it myself by:
1. device manager
2. cd rom: remove
3. restart my computer
after it restarts my dvdrom drive is back on my device manager but still does the same thing. Help Please!!!!

Strange. Not really sure about this one. Initial things I would check would be the drivers and the cable connection. Has this drive ever worked before? If not, it could be bad.
