Hey, What's Up With That?

Hey,

For the last couple of weeks, I have noticed something odd with the forums. It used to be that I could post a reply to a topic and when I got back to the forum topic page, all I had to do is hit refresh a couple of times, and my post would be there.

But lately, I can sit here and hit refresh until the cows come home and are standing at the barn door, and still no evidence of my post.

Hey, what's up with that? Is it something with the forums, or my system? Any ideas, folks? Oh, and this only seems to happen during the day when I'm at work. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif Don't seem to have any problems at home at night.

Hey Blue,
I have noticed this too. I have even had a hard time seeing others new postings when refreshing. Sometimes to the point of logging off then back on and still no refresh. Hmmmmm http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif
Maybe something to do with the amount of traffic we are getting.

I've have post which never showed up !!!! It only happened twice after which my profile information was lost and Charles had to rebuild it for me.

I'm not sure what the deal is, I got a couple of emails from one of our participants related to the same issue. Sometimes only posts up to a certain point would show up, twice I think in the past 3 or 4 months.

I've also seen it occasionally only show part of a topic, without the "Post Reply" etc links at bottom, and without part of the posts. I have no idea what causes it, server overload maybe?
