Yup. Winrar uses those. The normal extension is rar, but since its been divided up, it will be as you see it. Once you have installed winrar, open it and select the R00 file if there is no rar, and extract what's archived.

Another thought...Winzip 11 supports rar files.

I can recommend UltimateZip (http://www.ultimatezip.com/); just love the way it works using the right-click context menu.
.
Thank you for your advice!!
By the way, I've got another trouble. I just unistalled WinZip. But one file is somehow left out and not able to be deleted.
Every time when I attempt to delete it "Error" pop-up comes up, say "cannot be deleted, makesure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."
Ohhooo Frustrating. I could just leave it, but I can't!!!
Help my friends.
Thanks again

What's the location and name of the file?
What I would do if this were me...
1. My favourite:
a. Reboot the PC with a "Smart Boot Manager" bootable floppy in the FDD and an "Emergency Boot CD" [EBCD] in the CD-drive.
b. Run the "File Manager" on the 1st menu of the EBCD; navigate to the file and delete it. Since Windows isn't running, there would be no problem deleting the file.
OR...
2. Run MoveOnBoot (http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/MoveOnBoot-Download-1398.html) within Windows and tell it to delete the file at next Startup. [I've had at least one case where this caused a "lost file cluster" (the file) in the file system, and I had to use "MS Scandisk" run from the EBCD to fix it].
3. You might find that it would delete ok in Safe Mode.

This makes it easier to boot a chosen drive [particularly the one holding the EBCD].

This has a large number of useful utilities too numerous to list, including "Image" [for DOS, by Terabyte] & "File Manager" and 32 DOS command progs.

Or it could be that if you reboot, you can then give it a try. Sometimes Windows will hang on to a file in memory if you have run that application before removing it.
